You can visit the Abbey of Gellone (it is a Benedictine abbey founded in 804 by an Aquitanian aristocrat of the Carolingian period, Guillaume de Gellone, called Guilhèm in Occitan), take advantage of it to discover magnificent panoramas a few kilometers to the south. Devil’s Bridge and continue your way to the Cascade de la Vis and the Cirque of Navacelles.

The beach of Espiguette is located south of Port-Camargue and Grau du Roi. Classified natural site and labeled Grand Site de France. More than 10 kms of beach that looks like a desert. It is the wildest beach of the Gard.

The Boucanet beach of Grau du Roi is located west of the city center. There are two supervised areas on this beach. The general environment of this beach is pleasant with some small dunes and a nice width of sand. Ideal beach with children, because the bathing area is gently sloping. We’ve walked a long way.
