A selection of answers to our customers’ most frequently asked questions:

  • How can I book a holiday at Le Domaine de Gajan Flower Campisite?

Online: choose your preferred type of rental or campsite pitch, fill in the form and to confirm with your credit card. You will be asked to pay a deposit of 30%, an administration fee and cancellation cover if you choose that option. You will be asked for payment of 100% if you book less than 30 days before the arrival date. You will receive a confirmation or a refusal as soon as possible.

  • When and how do I pay the balance for my holiday?

The balance for your holiday must be paid 30 days before your arrival.
If you have booked online, you will receive an automatic email requesting payment of the balance. If you have booked in some other way (email, telephone, post), you must remember to settle your balance. If payment for your holiday has not been completed 30 days before your arrival date, we will consider your booking as being cancelled (see Terms and Conditions).

By post: by sending us a cheque made payable to ‘Camping Domaine de Gajan’ or by holiday vouchers (ideally by registered post in a strong envelope).

  • How much is the administration fee?

The administration fee is:
Rentals: 1 or 2 night stay € 5, stays less than 7 nights € 15, stays more than 7 nights € 25
Pitches: 1 or 2 night stay € 5, stays less than 7 nights € 15, stays more than 7 nights € 25

  • I already know the campsite, can I choose my own pitch?

When you book, you can state your preferences and, depending on availability, we will assign you the most suitable pitch for your needs.

  • What means of payment are accepted on the campsite?

Holiday vouchers, credit and debit cards and cash are accepted. Cheques are not accepted for payment on the campsite. Cheques are, however, accepted for Mobile Home deposits. Holiday vouchers are not accepted at the Restaurant Bar, snack bar or grocery store.

  • What time can I check in and occupy my campsite place?

In peak season, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, you can check in between 3 pm and 7 pm. Off season, check-in times may vary depending on our availability.

  • What time must I leave my campsite place?

In peak season, departure times are between 8 am and 10 am at the latest. You must go to reception for the inventory.

  • What time can I arrive and occupy my campsite place?

In peak season, arrivals take place daily between 2 pm and 7 pm. Off season, check-in times may vary depending on our availability.


  • What time must I leave my campsite place?

You must leave your site place at 12 midday at the latest

  • Can I bring a pet to Le Domaine de Gajan campsite?

Yes, pets are admitted to the campsite and rental area (pets classified in categories 1 and 2 are prohibited). An additional charge per pet will be applied. You must walk your pet on a lead outside the campsite. You may not leave it alone in your rental property or on your pitch.

  • What is the weather like at the campsite?

The campsite is in the south of the department and enjoys a hot and dry Mediterranean climate in summer. It is sunny in spring, but nights can be quite cool.

  • I am coming off-season, will the pool be open?

Yes, the pool is open from April to September, all the time that the campsite is open. In the off-season, or when necessary, the pool is heated.

  • Am I permitted to wear swimming shorts in the water sports area?

No, swimming shorts are not permitted, only swim briefs and swimming trunks are permitted.

  • Can I bring my barbecue?

No, charcoal barbecues are prohibited by prefectural order, but communal barbecues are available for use on the campsite. (Don’t forget your grill and charcoal).

  • What equipment is provided at my rental?

All our rentals are equipped with a fridge, microwave, sink*, hot plate or gas hob, crockery, kitchen utensils, pans, electric heating*, covered wooden decking, garden furniture… You can find further information on the rental page.

  • Must I bring my own sheets?

Sheets are not included in the rental, you can buy disposable sheets (not rough but pleasant to the touch) on the campsite or when you make your booking. The accommodation includes pillows and duvets. You must also bring your own linen (towels, bath mats, dishcloths…)

  • Can I park my car next to my rental?

Yes, all our pitches have enough space to park a vehicle. Only one vehicle is included in the charge for the rental. You may park a second vehicle on request if there is room on the pitch and on payment of an additional charge.

  • We might arrive very late, so what do we do if reception is closed?

If you think that you might arrive after 7 pm, please let us know and we will tell you how to proceed.

  • We are bringing a baby and will exceed the capacity permitted for our rental so what do we do?

Our mobile homes are designed for a maximum number of persons, including children and babies; any additional persons will not be admitted to the rental property.
